PAUL PETIT
This alchemy and bubbling creativity of Pigalle are what makes THE Paris which I live, eat, breathe.
Paul is also in love with Parisians and Paris, the city where he was born and grew up. And Pigalle, his neighborhood, was the starting point. And what a starting point! Pigalle encompasses the beautiful and the ugly. Asphalt against charming paved streets, past versus present, the chic and the bohemian, the artsy contrasted with street life. All of it in abundance!
Later, Paul leaves Paris to discover new horizons. Living in New York for more than 15 years, Paul also lives in London, Barcelona, and Tokyo. He explores and breathes in these cities, working for the large perfume groups.
But he always returns eventually to Paris, his first and only love.
MADE IN PIGALLE is a dream and a passion which became reality.
A dream made of flavors, scents and olfactory emotions. Emotions which Paul felt during his childhood summers in the South of France, surrounded by aromatic gardens. Thyme, rosemary, mimosa, lavender, bougainvillea, morning roses are his oxygen, his olfactory alphabet. Hundreds of memories which form the sources of inspiration.
In 2017, rue Blanche, next to the Moulin Rouge, MADE IN PIGALLE Parfumeur Parisien is born. Surrounded by peonies, lily of the valley, precious blackcurrant bud, tobacco leaves from Cuba, Sandalwood, Pink pepper, vetiver from Madagascar, Fig leaves from Greece… Here, in his lab, everything is passion, playfulness, elegance, emotions, sensual delight.
